Skardu, nestled in Pakistan's Gilgit-Baltistan region, is a gateway to K2, the world's second-highest peak. It sits at an altitude of 2,228 meters (7,310 feet), surrounded by stunning landscapes of mountains, rivers, and valleys. Skardu offers attractions like the historic Skardu Fort and adventure activities such as trekking and mountaineering. The K2 Base Camp, Concordia, and Gondogoro La Trek is one of the most iconic and challenging treks in the world, offering breathtaking views of some of the highest peaks in the Karakoram Range, including K2, the second-highest mountain in the world. This trek is known for its stunning scenery, including close-up views of some of the world's highest peaks and challenging high mountain passes.
Day 1 (Departure from Islamabad to Mansehra)
Islamabad to Skardu departure at 7:00 PM.
Dinner at Mansehra at 11:00 pm (Aprox)
Overnight in travelling.
Day 2 (Departure for Skardu)
Breakfast on way at Naran / Dasu .
Departure for Skardu, Lunch stopover on way.
Overnight & Dinner in Hotel at Skardu.
Day 3 (Rest Day Skardu (2350m))

Rest Day / Shopping Day at Skardu. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 4 (Skardu to Jhola (3200m))

By Jeeps drive to Jhola, Overnight in Tents.
Note: The road conditions from skardu to Jhola are rough & highly uncertain and often gets blocked due to land slide.
Day 5 (Jhola to Paiyu (3600m))
Jhola to Paiyu (3600m)
Start on a relatively easy trail for 6-7 hrs. Overnight in tents.
Day 6 (Piyu to Khubursay (3800m))

Trekking mostly along the crest of lateral moraine with stunning views of Paiyu Peak, Chorichi, Uli Biaho, Trango Towers and so on.
Trek Time: 4-5 Hours
Overnight in tents.
Day 7 (Khubursay to Urdukas (4200m))
Khubursay to Urdukas (4200m)
Trekking mostly along the crest of lateral moraine with stunning views of Paiyu Peak, Chorichi, Uli Biaho, Trango Towers and so on.
Urdukas is a spectacular campsite. Trek Time: 4 Hours

Day 8 (Rest Day)

Day 9 (Urdukas to Goro II (4500m))

Overnight in Tents. (A long walk on Baltoro Glacier)
Trek Time: 6-7 Hours
Day 10 (Goro II to Concordia (4700m))
Goro II to Concordia (4700m)
5-6 hours slightly easy trekking with spectacular views and gigantic mountain panorama, including Muztagh Tower, Gasherbrum IV, Mitre Peak and the mighty K2. Overnight in tents.

Day 11 (Free Day / Rest Day at Concordia (4700m))

Overnight in tents at Concordia. (Trek to K-2 Base camp optional)
Day 12 (Trek descend to Shachspong (4100m))
We begin trek descending first to Shachspong (4100m) where we have magnificent views of the surrounding granite spires and towers.
Overnight in Camp.
Day 13 (Trek descent of the Baltoro glacier,)
We continue our descent of the Baltoro glacier, today reaching as far as Horbose Overnight Camp.
Day 14 (Trek back to Paiyu)
Crossing the Baltoro to its north side beneath the towers of UliBiaho we finally climb down its snout to reach a good trail back to the spring oasis of Paiyu overnight Camp.
Day 15 (Back to Jhula)
Following the Braldu River downstream, overnight camp at Jhula
Day 16 (Back to SKardu)
The final day of trekking to the village of Askole. Here we say goodbye to our porters. We start drive to Skardu directly after reaching Askoli 6/7 hours jeep ride to Skardu through the fascinating of Barldo river.
Day 17 (Departure for Islamabad)
Rest in Skardu at Hotel till evening, Departure for Islamabad at 4:00pm. Dinner on way and night in travelling.
