Shandur Polo Festival is a sporting event that takes place at Pakistan's Shandur Top, the highest polo field in the world which is about 3700m above sea level. Under freestyle rules, the Gilgit District and Chitral District teams compete in a polo event. Every year, on July 7–9, the event is held at Shandur Top, the highest altitude polo ground, in cooperation with the governments of Gilgit–Baltistan and KPK. Each year, on or before June 11th, the Gilgit-Baltistan polo teams, their horses, team officials and band ensembles travel to Gologmuli Phandar for polo player and horse acclimatization and practice. The teams relocate to Shandur Top by their participation in the Shandur Polo Festival following eighteen days of training in Gologmuli Phandar. The Shandur Polo Festival is unlike any other gaming festival in the world. The Main areas of attraction in Shandur Polo Ground in Gilgit-Baltistan are Shandur Lake, Langar, and Phandar Valley. Autumn and summer are said to be the best seasons for visiting Chitral and Gilgit-Baltistan.
Day 1 (Islamabad city tour)

Day 5 (visit to Qaqlashat Meadows)
Breakfast in chitral.
Drive towards Qaqlasht Meadows! full day signtseeing at Qaqlasht.
Then Drive towards mastuj.
The principal settlement in the Yarkhud Valley, Mastuj, is bounded by Afghanistan and Gilgit-Baltistan on two sides.

Day 6 (Departure towards Shandur Pass)
Breakfast in Mastuj & departure for shandur pass to witness the unique festival and the polo tournament at the world’s highest polo ground(shandur top).

Arrivel at shandur pass and camping at polo ground.
This unique polo field is on the border between Gilgit Baltistan and Chitral.
