Description :
Skardu and Hunza are two captivating regions situated within Pakistan's Gilgit-Baltistan territory. Although they share geographical proximity, each possesses distinct characteristics and attractions. While both Skardu and Hunza offer stunning natural beauty and outdoor activities, Skardu leans towards extreme outdoor adventures, mountaineering, and exploration of challenging terrain. Day 1 (Departure for Chilas)
Departure from Islamabad for Chilas 6:00 am.
Travel through Hazara Motorway and then to Thakot Motorway.
Travel on Karakorum Highway along the mighty river Indus.
Stopovers on the way at Besham, Dassu, Samar Nala.
Arrival in Chilas and transfer to hotel.
Overnight stay in Chilas
Day 2 (Departure for Skardu)
Breakfast.
Departure for Skardu.
Travel via Jaglot and Astak.
Arrival in Skardu.
Visit Shangrila Lake and Upper Kachura Lake.
Photography and Sightseeing.
Enjoy boating in Upper Kachura Lake.
Drive back to the hotel.
Overnight stay in Skardu
Day 3 (Visit to Manthoka waterfall and Shigar)
Breakfast.
Visit Manthoka Waterfall.
Photography and Sightseeing. Departure for Shigar Valley.
Stopover for photography at Cold Desert.
Enjoy a distance view of scenic Blind Lake and Sarfaranga Desert.
Visit the old town Shigar and the famous Shigar fort (built in 17th century by the Raja of the Amacha Dynasty of Shigar).
Leisure time in the peaceful lawn of Shigar Fort.
Visit Amburiq Mosque(one of the oldest in Baltistan).
Drive back to Skardu.

Day 4 (Visit to Khaplu)
Breakfast.
Drive to Khaplu.
Stopover at confluence point of river Shyok River and Indus.
Sightseeing near-by waterfall.
Drive to Khaplu.
Visit old town of Khaplu and famous Khaplu fort (built in the mid-19th century).
Visit 600 years old famous Chaqchan Mosque.
Drive back to Skadu.

Day 5 (Departure for Hunza)
Breakfast.
Departure for Hunza Valley.
Travel through Astak, Jaglot and Gilgit.
Stopovers on the way at Rakaposhi viewpoint.
Photography and Sightseeing.
Arrival in Hunza and transfer to hotel.
Visit Karimabad local market.
Overnight in Hunza
Day 6 (Visit to Khunjerab Pass)
Breakfast.
Whole sightseeing tour to Khunjerab Pass.
Visit all majestic locations on the way including Ganish Bridge and Ganish Village, Attabad Lake, Gulmit, Passu Cones, Passu Glacier, Sost and Khunjerab Pass (till route is accessible for cars)
Drive back to Hunza.
Enjoy leisure time in Karimabad local market.

Day 7 (Explore Hunza city and back to Chilas)

Visit Altit fort and Royal Garden.
Departure for Hunza Valley for Chilas.
